Update: Saturday, 11th February 2012, 3pm

The overnight loss of electrical power to College has resulted in the widespread disruption being experienced today with wireless network access in College.  IS Services is working, with assistance from external support partners, to identify the root cause of the problem in the network infrastructure and we are evaluating what action should be taken to restore the service as quickly as possible.  We will provide updates via this Alert and Twitter when they are available but at the latest we aim to provide the next update by 5pm today.

Update: Saturday, 11th February 2012, 1pm

All major IT services are currently operational and accessible both internally on the  College Network  and externally from the Internet.  IS Services staff, working remotely and onsite, have monitored and are continuing to monitor service availability.  Several short service interruptions did occur during the morning particulary in regard to external access the College Email Service for staff. These interruptions are currently not affecting the College Staff Email Service.

Work is continuing in regard to monitoring the College Wifi Service.  Users may be experiencing some issues connecting and using this service at this time.
