Purchasing Printers, Scanners, Multi-function Devices

In order to comply with College Procurement Policy, all College funded printers, scanners and multifunction devices should be purchased from ErgoServices - supplying HP and other top brand products. Ergo's contact details and device recommendations are provided further down this page.

IS Services Support

IS Services will provide a network IP address for printers, or other perpherial devices, that are to be used on the College network. IS Services can also provide setup and network configuration support for the College recommended printers and peripherial devices that Ergo supply. Hardware and other technical issues with these printers and peripherials should be covered under the warranty which is purchased with these items and these matters can be directed to Ergo Support.

IS Services only provide a network IP address for printers or perpherials devices (multifunctional photocopier/printers) from other manufacturers such as Kopikat. IS Services do not provide any assistance with setup or configuration or hardware troubleshooting of these photocopiers/printers on the College network. Please consult with the supplier directly on these matters.

Ergo Service & Support

• Ergo will respond to requests for quotations within 24 hours, with acknowledgement of the request within 4 working hours.
• Delivery lead time: Ergo expect 90% of orders will be delivered next day.
• Dead on delivery orders will be replaced free of charge wihin 5 working days or else a refund provided provided it is reported within 28 working days of delivery.
• All on-site repairs will be responsed to within 8 working hours of the call-out request where an on-site service is defined in the warranty. Ergo expect 85% of faults will be resolved at first visit. Where a second visit is required this will be done within 3 working days of the first call out. Where the supplier fails to achieve this then the machine shall be repaired or replaced within 5 working days of first call-out.

Problems with IT Suppliers?

IS Services conducts regular review meetings with the suppliers on behalf of College Staff. If you are having problems with any of these suppliers please contact IS Services and the call will be escalated with the appropriate Account Manager on your behalf.
