Software catalogue
The software catalogue is a valuable source of information for staff looking for software. It details all information on most of the software packages in use in College. It provides advice to staff on how to avail of each software package. It also includes information on software available in the College computer rooms and details the support available for each package. This should be the first point of contact for staff who are looking for software.
Software usage policy
All staff are advised that they must ensure that any software they are using is appropriately licensed and their use of the software complies with the terms and conditions of the license agreement. It is the responsibility of each member of staff to ensure that they are appropriately licenced for all software on those devices for which they are responsible. Proof of purchase for each software license purchased must be retained by them.
